Since joining Vans China Skate Team in 2009, Cyres has been tearing up the streets of Shanghai while inspiring the kids there to do the same. Cyres is also a co-founder of Vagabond Skateboards, playing an instrumental role in Chinese skateboarding nurturing creativity in skateboarding for future generations.
