Each year, Vans extend the invitation for more to join the parade of creative self-expression. The 2018 Asia Custom Culture competition had participants coming from Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. After six months and over 10,000 submissions, Philippines’ John Pelaez walked away with the grand prize of getting his winning design to go on shelves in Vans stores Asia-wide.
